When a Vision Becomes a Reality
Iowa Speedway
Proctor Mechanical Corporation was pleased and proud to participate in the construction of a Central Iowa project near and dear to both their hearts and to the people in the area.
Great River Medical Center
Project Superintendent Todd White, along with architects NBBJ and engineers from KJWW, were extremely innovative as they turned an undeveloped field of corn stalks into the mechanical masterpiece: Great River Medical Center.
Blank Park Zoo: Discovery Zone
Proctor Mechanical was chosen to provide the mechanical expertise needed for this project. This project has a wide variety of mechanical systems and requirements, which Proctor can provide. The new 29,000 sq.-ft. space maintains 12 of the 15 constant climate zones, no small task for any company.
Clarke County Hospital
The remodel and expansion of the existing hospital is one of a few that Proctor Mechanical is currently undertaking. Our knowledge in this field helps us to complete the projects for the owners on budget and on time.
Mary Greeley Medical Center / Bliss Cancer Center
This project is an 87,000 square foot four-story cancer addition with a basement. Proctor will be completing this project in June of 2003.
Moulton Elementary
This project consisted of remodeling of an existing school originally built in 1895. A 3-story classroom addition was included with this project.
Grinnell College
The Grinnell College project consists of the construction of 4 new Residence Hall buildings. These buildings are used as dormitories for the college and has been qualified as a LEEDS project.
Camp Dodge STARC Armory
This project was built as a prototype of US Armed Forces Armories of the future. It not only serves as the National Guard Headquarters, but it also houses the vaulted Iowa Communications Network fiber optics equipment, requiring special temperature and humidity control.
Clarinda State Prison
This project consisted of building a 750-man, medium security correctional facility. The mechanical subcontract of nearly $4,000,000.00 was performed on schedule with a great deal of "team" attitude.
Iowa State Capitol
This project consisted of renovation of the 1874 Iowa State Capitol. It included the installation of a 120 ton chiller and a new fan coil HVAC system. Space management and coordination were extremely important aspects of this project.
Pella Corporate Office Facility
Proctor Mechanical has been using its ProVision™ technique and ExtraNet site on the new Pella Corporate Office facility. The 80,400-square-foot building was designed by the architectural firm of SVPA with Vitus Bering as project architect and Don Snedden as project manager. Proctor's project superintendent is Todd White.
